Currently a family making $36,000 pays more state tax than 84% of PA corporations. Democrats believe we should close Corporate Tax Loopholes, tax Natural Gas corporations at a level that will compensate for damage to our infrastructure and environment caused by the extraction process and transport, and perhaps expand the state Sales Tax in order to provide Property Tax Relief and pay the state’s fair share in operating our Public Schools.
