Franklin County VOTERS need YOU to protect our election!!

Election Protection Training for Poll Watchers (inside the polls), Voter Helpers (outside of the polls), and Canvassers Observers (inside at the Board of Elections facility where the ballots are officially counted).

Poll Watchers volunteer INSIDE the polls and OBSERVE what is to voters when they access their ballots, the actions of other organized groups challenging the eligibility of voters’ right to vote, and REPORT issues to our Franklin County Democratic Committee’s Election Protection attorneys. You must be a registered Democrat & reside in Franklin County to be a Poll Watcher.

Poll Greeters volunteer OUTSIDE the polls and SUPPORT the Poll Watchers and voters who have been denied a ballot or who feel intimidated. Poll Greeters actively ENGAGE with voters to resolve their ballot difficulties and REPORT issues to our Election Protection attorneys. You do not need to be a registered Democrat or a resident of Franklin County to be a Poll Greeter.

2026 Primary Democratic Candidates

Be ready to vote in the primary on Tuesday, May 19!

Note: For State Democratic Committeeperson 28th District – Vote For Not More Than Two (the male and the female with the highest number of votes shall be elected)

Precinct Committeeperson: A Precinct Committee Person represents Democratic voters in a single voting precinct. It is the most local and most powerful grassroots position in the party.

Two registered Democrats (one man and one woman) from each precinct can be elected and win this seat.
