Democrats believe that access to clean air, clean water, and fertile soil is a right, not a privilege.  With that in mind we support appropriate regulations to protect our environment as well as development of clean, renewable, alternative energy sources such as solar, wind, geothermal, etc. These sources help us maintain a leadership role in the world as well as provide good jobs for our people and a brighter future for generations to come.
